Fancy something naughty but not TOO naughty? Fancy something cheesy? Fancy something similar to a pizza but not a pizza? Well your luck is in! Try these…..
Easy peasy pizza squeezy!
Really fast to make….5 minutes tops!
These are actually not too bad on the fat and calorie count and as you can imagine, are open to your own interpretation. Next time I’ll be jazzing mine up with spice!
Healthy and delicious midweek meals are not difficult when you put your mind to it.
This simple meal was completely satisfying on all levels. Tasty, filling, healthy, cheap and quick!
All you need to do is:
Easy!
Probably the most “real” cooking I’ve done all week!
I’m not sure why my kitchen activities have been so lazy this week but they have. Yesterday however normal service resumed and I whipped up this little bad boy!
Homemade focaccia? Yes
Homemade veal burgers? Yes
Homemade sauces? You get the picture!!
I did have questions over the Tuna and caper sauce. It seems a little odd right? Especially with the veal? I even told the Jones that I would put the sauce on the side just in case it wasn’t palatable but actually it tasted so delicious that I made an exec decision and put it straight I the burgers!
The focaccia bread base was a nice break from the usual top and bottom bun. The burger itself was moist and tasty and the addition of the salad and sauce made it a rather grown up burger.
I would highly recommend you try this dish. If you didn’t make the bread it would also be a very fast dish to prepare…very little cooking involved!
Despite my love affair with noodles it’s a while since I’ve made up a batch, but tonight changed that.
Prawn Noodles was the dinner choice for tonight, with a Chinese influence:
In total this dish took 20 minutes max and was ram packed full of full of taste. Tuesday night I challenge you to give me better food! Not likely! 😉
Let me know your thoughts……
Get home.
Starving.
Feeling zonked.
Dinner in under 10 minutes? Yes indeed!
Boom! 10 minutes down and a healthy, flavorful tea ready to devour!
My thing right now is breakfast smoothies, in fact it’s been my “thing” for a few months now.
I make myself a beast of a shake and consume it after the gym, normally over the duration of a couple of hours. They are so filling they keep me hungerless until way after lunch time and they taste great to boot!
The mixture changes daily but basically consists of:
They are honestly wonderful and the peanut butter ones really keep you going! Today I had mango and Passion fruit and it was a winner!
After a 5.45 am start, a 90 minute gym session, a long day in the office and a pitch black dog walk…tonight my body craved carbs!
I whipped up this simple yet tasty tomato and chicken pasta (it would have been 100% healthy too if not for the cheeky addition of creme fraiche)
Easy peasy and done in under 20 minutes. It doesn’t lack on flavor either however if I was dining alone I would have been tempted to slip in a full chili!!
Happy Monday!
I raided the kitchen and whipped up this tasty, slightly naughty dinner last night. I’d treat myself to a tipple of wine and so didn’t want to be in the kitchen an age, but I was hungry and needed substance!
Breaded chicken wraps with rocket and sundried tomato salad
Super easy:
Really easy. Relatively quick. A taste of slight guilt food for a Friday night!
